Review: EcoBrow in Sharon and Penelope

If you're looking for a brow pomade, your search can end here. EcoBrow makes my all-time favorite green brow product, that is in every way comparable to (if not better than) Anastasia Beverly Hills, NYX, or any number of other conventional brow pomades.

I apply EcoBrow with a thin angled brush like this one from 100% Pure.

Here's what's different about this formula. This pomade is creamy, almost waxy, and therefore does not dry out like other formulas. In a hurried rush I've left the lid off of my Ecobrow more than once, and have come back to a perfectly unchanged formula. When I used Anastasia Brow Pomade, if I left it open for a day, it would shrink up in its jar a bit, and the formula would become brittle.

In terms of application, this pomade is pigmented similarly to conventional pomades, and might have a learning curve to get a hang of. I use very light, feathery strokes to fill in sparse areas of my brows, and finish by brushing them through with a spooley (the mascara-wand end of most eyebrow brushes).

My final step in my brow routine is always to set with Glossier Boy Brow, and bam. Full, thick brows.

Ecobrow can be purchased at many retailers nowadays for $26, including Sephora, Free People, Ecodiva Beauty, Credo, and most other green beauty retailers. Here is a link to their site to explore their color range and see full information on the product.
